Carmine Proofreading offers a flexible and friendly service to suit your needs. I cater to authors and businesses, providing a ‘second eye’ over your work to allow it to shine without distractions or errors. One of my key interests is children’s fiction, particularly for ages 7 and up. I also specialise in short stories for both children and adults, where it is vital to make sure that every word counts. However, I regularly take on other genres, from self-help to horror!

I have received a Distinction from the Publishing Training Centre in their Basic Proofreading course, an industry-recognised award. I am also a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).

All work is considered with no job being too small, from leaflets and blog/website posts to book manuscripts and dissertations/essays. Amendments can be done in Word, on Pdf or hard copy and guidance can be given on why changes have been made if desired.
