Pricing will depend on a number of factors, such as the length and type of the work, level of proofreading required and the turnaround time. A free quote can be given based on a representative sample of 1,000 words.
To give you a rough idea, my hourly rate for proofreading is around £25, depending on how much needs to be done. This works out at about £0.01 a word.
Copyediting is more intensive, so my hourly rate is about £30, again depending on the specifics. This is around £0.02 to £0.03 a word.
